Thanksgiving Time!

Well I suppose I should write before life starts to get too busy. Chase and I have just been working saving our money and going to school so nothing too terribly exciting to post. I think I need to write a list of things I am thankful for. Chase (obviously) has been going to school 6 days a week as well as working 6 days a week he is my superman we will have been married for 6 months on Sunday he is my everything I love him so much and am thankful everyday for the things he does for me. My child Copernicus he is so very silly and makes me laugh everyday.

Isn't that just so precious? Copernicus was rubbing all over his dad and giving him kisses and making Chase crack up!

I am thankful for my family all of my siblings and my parents they all are super awesome and it sucks that I don't get to be with them this year for Thanksgiving to go see our movie or on Christmas to eat or Mexican food but I am grateful for the memories I have and the new ones I now get to make. They all make me laugh and care so much about me I can call any one of them anytime and they will all be there for me. My parents are very loving and caring and want the best for me they have sent me a few packages since I have moved out here and I always look forward to the handout my mom made for her YW and put and extra one in for me and the silly daily comics my dad has he saves every single one and when I get my package they all are in there for me to read.

So adorable I think we were some cute kids but I may be bias. 

I am grateful for my nieces and nephew I got to be in Dylan and Kate's lives so much. I am grateful they still remember me I got for halloween some adorable pictures to put on my wall Kate made for me and today in the mail I got a letter from Dylbert wanting to be pen pals. Also my two other nieces Miss Ella and baby London I have gotten to watch Ella grow up she is so smart and mature for a 7 year old she is so cute and my almost 6 month old baby London who seems to be the sweetest little thing on the earth. 

I didn't have a pic of Ella sadly but I will get one up! I love this one of Kate she was so mad of how her hair looked her mom sent this pic to me and had me call Kate to tell her I thought she looked beautiful because she didn't believe her mother, they are so sweet. 

I am thankful for having been able to marry into such an understanding and loving family. Chase and I have had to live with them and they all have been so sweet and totally just acting like I was one of them it makes me feel safe and happy to know I have family around me. 

Also I am thankful for Ferris and Oscar my two animals back at home oscar the ewok and my poor ferris who is going blind and getting old they both were my cuddle buddies for a long time

Such silly animals. So I have discovered I am mainly thankful for my family which doesn't surprise me they have been there throughout my entire life and I am grateful for that. 

Alright we are done with the mushy stuff I should post some pics of my child he got a hoodie since it is colder out here than Colorado and he is a wimp and then we found him a super awesome t-shirt for $1 I just had to get him he hated it of course and always runs when I try to put it on him but it is just so cute.

Well I have signed up for classes I start Dec 2nd at MTI College for my Medical Assisting with phlebotomy certificate it should only take 8-9 months I am super stoked for it I have missed going to school  and am excited to get my brain working again.

So as I said I would post the pics of my owl cupcakes I made back in Oct so here they are

Haha isn't that the cutest cupcake you have ever seen! I keep smiling and getting all excited every time I would finish one I didn't want to eat any they were so cute!

Love Always and Forever

I very sweetly asked Chase if I could get a pic of the two of us for our blog, this is what I got...I told him it was going up. Funny looking but kinda cute at the same time, thats us! It hasn't been too long since I last posted, but some things have been going on(plus I was just bored). Halloween came and went Chase had class and Copernicus decided that he hates Halloween like his father so it was somewhat uneventful. I took Copernicus on a walk with his awesome Dracula costume on. One of our neighbors was out working on his truck he saw Copernicus he had to run inside and get him a treat which I though was sweet, so did Copernicus. After we got home and kids started ringing the doorbell and coming with masks he was FREAKING OUT and barking at them all, it was a bit annoying. So that was the epic first Halloween as a married couple woo hoo crazy times. Next year I am having a party I have already decided. So here is my child and his Halloween costume DRACULA!

So cute right? We even got him a little bat that squeaks. For those of you who do not know this dog is addicted to squeak toys and the more high pitched the better. Ill get a picture up of them sometime just to show you how ridiculously spoiled this dog is.

So lately I have had this thing about owls and yea I know everyone loves owls but I always have they were my first animal sound I would make and in 5th grade I did a project on them so I have always loved them I am not following the trend I set it! Alright so I have had a few family birthdays this last month I have been trying to make cards so far they have all had owls on them this one was for Chases dad who loves bikes

Haha I just think their big ol eyes are adorable. Sorry it is a little dark the flash would make it so you couldn't see anything. I had to go to Target and we still had a gift card left and Chase was not with me so I was free to roam and I found this bad boy on clearance I had to get it

My owl purse! I love it! I had been wanting a purse just like that I was not thinking owl just the style it is so cute and goes with everything so Chase let me keep him. Dang so I made owl cupcakes too for the ward Halloween party but all the pictures are on my phone and the screen is not working so I will have to put those bad boys up later. 

So as a tradition that has been in my family as long as I can remember would be my mom making chili on Halloween for the first time for the fall it would always be Halloween. Well since Chase was in class I decided to wait a few days I made it for Sunday dinner and boy would my mom have been proud I thought  it was dang good(of course not as good as hers but not as bad as I thought it would have been). Everyone seemed to have enjoyed it Chase was eating some for lunch I had him make a yummy face for me

Haha he is such a silly man I love him. 

Well it has been a year since I have gone to school and it is killing me! I have been thinking about Medical Assisting. I have looked into some schools and will hopefully be starting an 8 month program on Dec 2nd! I cannot wait I will be certified in 8 months for MA and phlebotomy so that will get me a way better job than now which I cannot wait for I am sooo done with retail!

Princess and the Pea

Ahhh fall time I LOVE it, it is basically my favorite time of the year. So far this October has been wonderful Chase and I have done a few things that were highly entertaining and have a few more fun activities planned. First we got to watch Chases old principals house for 8 days which was super nice to have an entire house to ourselves with copernicus and wyland(their dog). Copernicus esp loved having the couch with all the different pillows to lay on and one night when chase was in class Cdog climbed up onto the stack of pillows and attempted to make them more comfortable he looked like the princess and the pea I thought it was hilarious seeing him on to of all these pillows.

I couldn't figure out how to flip it oh well you can still see it at least right? He is a silly dog. So since Chase and I were getting something somewhat of a little vacation we both took the weekend off so we could spend some much needed time together since we are always at work or if he is home he is studying (which he got an A in his anthropology class that just ended super proud of him!) Over our weekend we went up to Apple Hill Farms its this adorable area in the foothills of a ton of different apple farms and wineries they have crafts and sell a lot of different apple things it was so much fun to walk around and see all the stuff we took a few pics to show everyone

We had a lot of fun running around and looking at all the different things I got to get a caramel apple shake and chase got his gallon of apple cider in one of the cool big glass jugs which will be used a a Galileo fund jar when its all gone. So this picture I have to put up cousin marco got a polo to wear for halloween as marco polo haha we put it on copernicus to see what he though of it and this is the look he gave us

He HATED it and now runs from his Aunt Kelsey whenever she gets close to him because he thinks she is going to put clothes on him. So Chase and I have been called as Sunday School teachers for the 12-14 year olds in our ward which is super fun this last week was about the armor of god and we got some cheap armor from the dollar store and got one of the boys to dress up in it while the other kids got to throw fiery red darts at him it was super funny and all the kids thought it was the best lesson ever and could tell us what each piece of armor meant and why it is that. This next week we are thinking of a maze....haha more to come. Last but def not least is my amazing husband who I absolutely adore!!! FIrst as I already said he got an A in his anthro class he is getting 16 credits this semester on top of working 20 hours a week he is super man. So his anthro class ended he is now taking a lab class for biotechnology and he has a crazy asian teacher who is a total nerd and he had to go out and get a lab coat to wear to class each week which I though was so adorable so right before his first lab tonight I made him model it for me so I could take a picture

Awwww my crazy scientist he is so cute I think with is converse gym shorts and lab coat haha I love him so much. Well that is it hope you all enjoy seeing what actually goes on in our lives until next time

Here We Go!

Alrighty then this being my first blog ever I hope you bare with me as I will most likely ramble on about nothing or tell stories I shouldn't. Chase is the writer in the family but since he is in class and I need something to do I am going to attempt this all on my own, I hope it is somewhat enjoyable that you can laugh once or twice or just feel better knowing that your life is way more exciting than our broke butts. 

So I shall start at the beginning. Chase and I were married on the 27th of May 2011 hooray!! After waiting for a year and a half the man finally asked me and put a big ol rock on my finger!

After our wedding Chase and I moved to CA back for him but new for me. We made the trip from Vail, CO all the way to Big Sac Town in one day, one very long day. I did get to but my raspberry filled doughnuts in Utah and other than the fact that it was snowing in the mountains at 2am or so it was a pretty smooth roadtrip I hope to never have to accomplish so quick again. So right here I will apologize I will have some more exciting stories to share and hopefully pictures I am trying to get better at taking them when we go places so it is possible you may end up with random pics I just like that have nothing to do with my stories.

Soon after arriving to our new home I quickly decided against my long hair with the heat and given the fact that our car the precious bug has no air conditioning(or breaks right now).

So there is the short hair I know its not the best picture but it segways into my next little story

My baby boy turned 1!!!

It was Copernicus's birthday he got special doggy cupcakes all of his friends got to eat they all enjoyed them quite a bit everyone else got normal cupcakes he got some new toys a big boy collar and happy birthday sung to him he had a blast he opened his presents all by himself

And passed out like every child after their birthday party

I know I am ridiculous but he is my baby I love him so much

Well this is all I have time for right now I will finish going over the last four months later when Chase is studying I am sure
